Student Review: "We started the week off strong by visiting the library which was so fun! I never realized just how many resources and activities it had until we visited there. AND they have puzzles!! It’s so amazing to see just how much they care about our community and provide for us whenever we need it."

Did you know that our Jerseyville Library is a Carnegie Library?! Our first library that was on State Street opened in 1894. Our Carnegie Library opened in 1904 (the east part of the upstairs).

They gave us a tour of the library and we were amazed by the new renovations. The library also has a great section upstairs of items you can rent like fun shaped baking pans, fishing poles, and even a telescope!

Our library has 55,000 BOOKS!
