Graduated from JCHS and then attended SIUE. She worked in the telecom industry for 11 years.
The business was previously called Uncle Andy’s and was owned by family. They took over the business in 2018. Their first year of business was in 2019 and two days after opening the flood happened. They went to Farmers Markets to sell through all of the products they had already purchased and harvested. After getting through 2019, then like many businesses they were faced with the challenges of the 2020 pandemic. She went back to work full-time and currently has a day job with Enterprise. She and her husband have overcome challenge after challenge and that is a testament to their resilience.
She boasted about her employees Tina & Patty who you will recognize as the friendly faces you see when you stop by the store.
Margaret, thank you so much for sharing your store. We are in awe of what all you were able to overcome. We also loved that you support local vendors/makers in your store.
